A Friendship Two Decades in the Making
Sheridan and Chris Bogart, the founder and roaster behind Green Ape Coffee, go way back. They first met in Mr. Simons' fifth grade class in 2006 and spent their middle and high school years as close friends. The Bogart home became a familiar place - filled with laughter, weekend hangouts, and countless memories shared with Chris and their circle of friends.
Sheridan’s love for the Bogart family’s coffee started early. Even after moving to Virginia for college, she asked her mom to ship bags of their coffee to keep her mornings grounded in something familiar and comforting.
So when Sheridan and Sean decided to open Skurp’s Coffee Co., there was no hesitation - Green Ape was the only roaster she ever imagined partnering with. More than just great coffee, this is a 20-year relationship rooted in trust, nostalgia, and damn good coffee.
